Expanding on CommandFunctionality
« on: June 16, 2015, 01:34:34 AM »
I am really loving the new functionality with commands.  I have expanded my use of commands for different levels of viewers/users to include VIPs as well as points costs for running certain commands.

What I would like to see is an expansion of the functionality to include a way to limit a command to a specific user.  As an example, a reward for being a VIP Gold user is that the user gets a personalized command that only they can run.  For example, if user "bob" had a custom command !bob, they could run that command all day long while, if another user tries to run the command, the bot ignores them or says that they can't run that command.

Use case; Currently, I use Patreon to raise funds.  A reward of the top two tiers is that the patron receives custom commands (text based command for 2nd tier and sound command for top tier).  At this point, anyone that is in that person's VIP level can run that "personalized" command.  Being able to limit the command to a specific user would make it more personalized.

Just an idea...not sure of the feasibility of it however.
