Modified Queue Command. Is it possible?
« on: October 20, 2015, 02:32:25 AM »
I am getting into a bit of a predicament with the queue system. Many times my viewers names don't match up with their twitch handles, so I was wondering if anyone out there as come up with a way to FORCE a user who wants to join a queue to type in their in game name. Similar to the way where !requestsong tells you how to use the command properly and then !requestsong
  • actually does it.

I thought there could be a way with command chaining but I don't get how to use the dynamic variables correctly or even how to set them up for what I would like.

I hope someone out there knows a simple fix.  :P

Well you can't modify what the text says from a queue, however you can try and create a custom command, like !queuehelp or something. It can state the command to join the viewer queue, then what they need to type to join.
