AWS EC2 Servers
« on: March 09, 2016, 09:48:56 AM »
My channel was switched over to the AWS EC2 servers today.  Deepbot is in chat but won't respond to any commands.  Every other bot has been updated for this.  Why hasn't Deepbot been updated even though Twitch gave ample warning?

Broadcasters need this fixed ASAP.

This is fixed in the next update: 0.8.9.0. It should be released ASAP.

Sorry for the delay on this.  It should be released within 24 hours.

I have to say I'm not impressed by this update.  The bot constantly disconnects from chat and I have to re-connect it, restart the client or change the server port its using.  The connection seems to fail more on port 443.  I have Windows firewall disabled.

Did you change the server as well? Are you running as admin?

I was switched to the AWS Servers today, and I am running 0.8.9.0 . I am constantly going offline and chat will not work at all. Is this going to be resolved

Are you using irc.chat.twitch.tv port 6667 or 443?

You may have to connect and disconnect a couple of times.

Still doesn't work? Try redoing OAuth Logins on the config tab.

Still doesn't work? Try reinstalling deepbot.
