Active Chatter Multipler

I'm trying to rework the points in our channel but I'm wondering... In the general settings there is an active chat multiple which states "Activate points multiplier for viewers active in chat in the last x minutes" and you can input your chosen values. Does anyone know if this is in addition to the multiplier for their user class or in place of it? Depending on which way it's coded will change the values we'd want to use.

It is an addition. So let's say VIP Gold on the Config Tab > Loyalty Point Timer > Set to 2x, then you have the active chat multiplier to 2x for VIP gold as well. Then it would be 4x as long as they are active within the time you have set.
