OAUTH issues
« on: May 06, 2014, 03:49:08 AM »
First time using DeepBot
I click the OAUTH blue http link
fill in the CORRECT details of the login
click login
NOTHING happens - no matter how many times i click login it doesnt do anything or change screens. I never get the app password.
I have re-installed windows IE, ran as admin, and removed all firewalls, still nothing.

UPDATE:  I logged into the bot account on TWITCH via chrome and REVOKED app access, then returned to deepbot exe app and hit login again, now i click authorize on the access screen (the one after login) and it still just sits there. I refresh on twitch.tv and it shows I have allowed access to the app however. it just sits here on this screen tho.

Hey mate - you can add me on skype (deepbot.experts) and we can see when we are both online. Most likely Friday evening or Saturday morning.

I will need to see the error via teamview or skype screen share to be able to help you debug this.

Regards,
Experts

sure i can add you
be aware there is no "error" message that I can see, I have teamviewer.  its simply not pushing to the next screen after I hit Login in to try and get it to give me an app password

Might be worth getting in touch with Twitch Support then, if it's on their end.

As discussed, issue has been resolved. It was the IE security settings blocking the token handshake.
Adding twitch.tv and deepbot.deep.sg to the trusted sites section in IE resolved the issue.
