All Coins & Hours are away

i do the last Update & since dat, all hours from all viewer & All coins are away ?

i ask me whats wrong ?

I just started up deepbot too and all the users have been reset for coins. What the heck?

Here's an error log! I just noticed the problem today show it should be the most recent date.

Gotta say I'm not happy with the bot lately, it's constantly not working correctly.  User aren't able to see there currency, bot is unresponsive and ignoring commands, the sub sound isn't playing often and if it does plays 10 minutes AFTER the sub happens, and for the 2nd time in the past month it has completely removed all currency from my users.  Not sure what the problem is here, but if there is fix for restoring to a back up or something as far as currency goes I'd like to know about it.

Apologies for the inconvenience. This issue is only impacting a few streamers and not all, and hence is challenging to identify the root cause.
DeepBot does save regular backups of the database.

To restore a backup:
Close DeepBot
rename users.bin to users_bak.bin (This is the backup of your current database)
Find the file you want to restore from the backups\0\ folder and copy it  it (time stamped version of users.bin )
Paste the file in the main folder (where the original users.bin was)
Rename the backup file to users.bin
Start DeepBot

It might be challenging to identify it yes, but are you close?  Bot is literally not working at all 95% of the time.  Love the bot, but it's frustrating to have something that people have become accustomed to not work normally because all I get is questions from 100's of people why isn't it working.

Sorry to hear you have had such a bad experience with the bot.

I am aware of the issues with the Sub alert, which worked perfectly until the last twitch chat server update (which broke this feature) resulting in delays you are seeing.
The last update should have made it slightly better and the next one should bring the delay down to ~30secs.

Also, If twitch services are interrupted, the bots wont work either. When you are having issues with the bot, I would recommend checking https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport as you can see over the past few days there have been a number of outages that they have been working on.

As third party bot developers, we are hostage to changes twitch makes which can break some of the services we offer. It is worth noting that twitch has recently implemented connection limits which are also hurting bots. Here is a note from Night (creator of night bot) that explains the impact of these changes:

I am working on finding acceptable workarounds for some of these issues, however it does take a fair bit of time to create and test these changes.

As a Twitch Admin I can confirm to a degree what experts is talking about.  Twitch has recently had a series of outages that affected everyone site wide, they have cause alerts for followers and subs to go awry from many sources other than deepbot.  Twitch's most recent changes concerning connection limits have totally changed the playing the field with to regards maintaining bots on any kind of large scale.  Please, and this is to all here, remember that this is closed beta test that you signed up for, with the foreknowledge that there will be bugs and downtime.  Twitch certainly has thrown a few curveballs at all bot creators/maintainers lately, and this certainly includes deepbot.  Please be assured that we are doing everything we possibly can to cope with these changes as fast as we can, but we are a very small team of people who also have day jobs.  Deepbot has experienced unprecedented growth lately and just trying to keep up with that has been extremely challenging.  We hope to be able to continue this amazing journey deepbot has taken us on but it will take time for us to adapt not only to the changes Twitch has made, but with the unexpected growth we have expereinced.  I'd also like to appologige to you personally Deagan, I'm sorry that you've had a negative experience with Deepbot, but please be assure we are doing everything within our power to make it right.
