Host Chat Message
« on: May 20, 2017, 10:25:48 PM »
In Master Settings > General - there is the "Detect streamers that host you and thank them in chat if # or more viewers are hosted."

A) - Thank you for the above option, really helps allot

The Host chat message of "Thanks to @user@ for hosting this stream."

B) - How do I include the game that they were playing as well?  Something along the lines of, "Thanks to @user@ for hosting this stream. they were last seen playing @customapi@[http://customapi.deepbot.tv/streamgame/@target@]

Will that work?

Twitch made it so you have to have a Client ID to get the game they are playing, so another staff member made one to get stream information. This is the one you want:

@customapi@[https://api.ninetales.us/info/?user=@user@&format=/game/&status=offline]

You can't put this in the message in the master settings. You will have to make a command and put the command in there.

^That is for a different command, but same concept.

I have managed to put a couple of commands together, I was sort of looking for a little automation, but I think I can understand why it might be a bad idea.

Here are the commands that I am using.

Twitch Stream Group
Ladies and gentlemen, boys & girls' a fellow Rocket Jockey [twitch.tv/@target@] has just entered the stream.  Please click the supplied link and give them a follow.  This is not a command; just consider it a moral imperative and know that you have make the correct choice. They were last seen playing @customapi@

Other Streamers
Hey, please go give: twitch.tv/@target@ a follow, they deserve it as they're awe plus some at customapi@[http://customapi.deepbot.tv/streamgame/@target@],

I notice that what I am using for Other Streamers, is slightly different from what you have and am curious what they do differently?

@customapi@[https://api.ninetales.us/info/?user=@user@&format=/game/&status=offline]

Unless the dev included the Client ID in @customapi@[http://customapi.deepbot.tv/streamgame/@target@], it would not work. That is why I suggested the other one. Twitch made it so you have to have a Client ID and include it in the URL to get the game they are playing, so another staff member made one to get stream information that can be made custom.

http://customapi.deepbot.tv/streamgame/@target@ works in your browser, but try it in a command and it won't work. Information on it: https://blog.twitch.tv/client-id-required-for-kraken-api-calls-afbb8e95f843
