Title: Vote/Comment on Suggested Features for DeepBot
Post by: TheNumbLock on January 17, 2015, 03:14:02 AM
All ideas posted in this section will be added to the DeepBot Project Management website: Here (https://trello.com/b/K3iudTTR/deepbot-official-trello)

You can vote on requested features as well as comment on them. The more votes an idea/suggestion has, the greater the chance it will be implemented into DeepBot sooner.

Ideas and feature suggestions are added manually. If you do not see yours right away, it will be added ASAP. You may post your ideas/suggestions on this thread or make your own.

Update 6/7/2016: Any Feature Request Thread with a Green Checkmark next to it has been implemented, on the suggestion list, or has an alternative.

Add a feature to allow Followers to be added to a Queue where Moderators can announce the follower and eliminate Troll or offensive twitch usernames to display.

I love Deepbot so far and I just got it! but i'm wondering if there is a way to select individual vip levels for raffles and such? that way you have the option to pick Vip categories by themselves. It would be great to have this implemented in the current selection system

Hey guys, will you consider adding multiple betting pools with customizable !bettingpool1 !bettingpool2 etc command lines?  I know we can have up to 14 betting options within a single betting pool, but I would love to be able to have multiple betting pools running simultaneously.  Often in gaming streams there are many things going on, and chatters want to interact and bet on multiple situations at the same time.

Examples based on League of Legends:
Betting pool 1:  Which team will win the game?
Betting pool 2:  Which individual player will get to 10 kills first?

Thanks for considering!

Commands for wav sounds and image pop ups.  I use a second bot only to have that feature.  It would be great to have this integrated with DeepBot so you use the VIP features along with it. For instance chat could type !hype and then the options could be to have an image pop up on screen (such as a hype sign) and a wav file would go off.  You could have the choice in the Deepbot menu to have the command cause a sound, an image pop up or both.  This would be a lot of fun and add a lot of custom things to a stream.

Loving Deepbot thus far.

I would like to see a feature where people in chat can do giveaways and require points for their giveaway. Using something like !enter to participate.

I would also like to see a feature where the streamer can set a number of points for VIP viewers to be able to advertise themselves. Along with a link blocking ability. Just a couple useful features I think.

You can do Keyword Raffles and set minimum points to enter. You may be able to do something like this in the near future. And a simple chat moderation is in the works.

Is there any chance of having the bot work with Foobar2000 like it does with youtube?  A lot of the times I have so much going that running youtube for music can slow some stuff down.  It would be great if the viewers could type in !song and get the song currently playing off foobar.

Another feature I would love to see is a purchase command.  Where a viewer types In !buy X , which would then trigger the bot to remove the points price from the user and give them what (X) is.  Say it was for VIP Gold with cost of 500 points.  User could type in !Buy VIPGold and then the bot would remove the 500 points and give the viewer access to VIP for the standard time it does now. Then the bot would respond back in chat to the viewer telling them the transaction is done and that they now have access for 30 days. This would be very helpful and save time doing it myself taking time away from the cast to do it.

Be able to have winamp right inside the Deepbot client GUI.  This would allow less clutter on screen and maybe be able to also tie into the song request feature.  I use a custom playlist and people often times comment about my music in my stream and how much they love it and have even started requesting me play certain songs.

Is there a way to have a VIP section where you can choose to have all VIP's get a custom join message automatically.  It would be nice to give this as a perk to VIP members but then have stop once their VIP status expires.

Also is there any way during keyword raffles for the "min points" to have the abilty to take that amount of points from the user for entering that raffle.  Just was wondering if you had plans to add that as well.

Thanks!

I used to have both temporary and permanent song requests
Temporary songs cost x points and permanent songs cost y points
All songs requested run through a que as the next song on the list.
I did this manually and would like it as a feature here on deepbot

1) Add the ability to change user levels/hours watched (ex: change user from recruit to Corporal)
2) Add the ability to "clear" the chat from the chat tab in the program,(I have to close and reopen the program to clear it)
3) Add a commands list tab or index in the actual program to make command adding quick and easy.
4) Add option to view followers (instead of just All Users) this will separate viewers from followers.
5) Add ban/timeout options in the chat tab

Hi,

Not sure if I am using the betting system correctly but if I am then I would like to recommend an addition.

There does not seem to be any way to create odds to create a multiple of stake payout.

E.g.

Viewers bet on 2 options (1. Boy, 2. Girl). I set the timer for 2 minutes, allow multi betting and give a house cut of 1%.

What I am looking for is an option to set the payout multiple - in this case 1:1 (odds of 2) payout. So if one viewer bets 50 points on option 1 (!bets 50 1) and is correct they would receive 99 points (50 x 2) - 1 (house edge).

All the viewers who bet option 1 (boy) would receive (Bet*Odds)-House Cut and all the viewers who bet option 2 (girl) would lose their bets.

I hope this makes sense - if this can be done now then if someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong that would be great :)

I was actually trying to find this same feature today. Would be nice to have. Makes me wonder, what is the default payout currently?

At no point in time would an option payout more points that entered in the betting pool (i.e. the house does not issue new points).

You can read that here: http://deepbot.deep.sg/wiki/Betting

Oh, and I forgot something: Can we make it possible for Deepbot to use subscriber emotes (depending on whether or not the broadcaster partnered).

Just subscribe to the partner with your deepbot bot twitch account.

I thought about that, but I didn't think the broadcaster would do it on account of laziness, so I abandoned that idea. I thought there was another way of doing it...

But thanks anyways!

Can you make it possible so that we can tweak matchWith in @if@ variables to make it so that they aren't case sensitive? I would greatly appreciate that.

This is possible allready, I found out recently. It takes some setting up, but you can use channel commands to enable/disable sources and make it play music etc.

1) I would like to see more customization options for individual user commands. Currently, Deepbot can be set up to greet individual users on entry into the chat.  While this is nice, it can get spammy, (any time a user tabs out & back into the channel it greets them again, when they technically never left), and has the drawback of potentially calling out viewers that prefer to lurk.  It would be nice to have the option of making a custom command for long time supports usable only by the streamer and the individual the command was created for.  A command that has a trigger rather than an automatic greeting.

1)a) A subsequent idea for the above would be sound commands.  Type a command and trigger a sound file.

2) I would also like to see chat interaction "games" that are more for fun and not necessarily a game.  Things that I've seen in other chats that offer a lot of customization, (and have the potential for a lot of laughs), are the Magic 8 ball interaction and, (I'm not sure if it has a name), but random funny responses to a command.

I'm not sure if there's a way to alter/customize what is currently available in Deepbot to fulfill one or both of these ideas, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do so myself, (not tech savvy), or find any tutorials or guides on the same.

1. You can set it to when they only say something in chat first or even whisper it instead. Example of both in action:

1a. I know you can set a command to go off in custom join messages. But I have not tried it with putting: @exec@ = Chain one or more commands from a single command. E.g. @exec@[5,!bot] will run !bot after 5 seconds.

2. There are quite a few commands/mini-games found here: http://deepbot.deep.sg/forums/index.php?board=15.0

Please implement ASAP any method a viewer could use to check how many entries they have entered in the giveaway! As a bonus please implement a feature where people can check how many existing entries there are for a raffle giveaway <3

The trello has something under the 'ideas - website' section but I think it could much more easily be implemented as something like '!raffle info'

You can always use one of the 3rd parties we support that use those methods. You can see what you can connect to on the Config Tab > Master Settings > Integrations Tab. There you will find a list of what deepbot can be integrated with.

I want to build a website based team on Twitch and have deepbot.

What if 5 other people want to stream key to my channel as a group effort but also want deepbot? Maybe make it 24hr...

Can we add them to a list by paying a join donation cos that would be super awesome to keep stream consistency. Clearly its the same channel so you can't really judge them differently but it would be great to be able to send them the package for their hard work and they can have 24hr raffles, music, points, notifications and an all-round consistent stream in my place whilst working or asleep.

If you are all streaming to one channel, then just give the login for the channel (or setup it up, then have them install deepbot. Then give them the data folder so you don't have to worry about passwords/security that way.) You can even invest in a server that is windows 2012+ with 2GB of ram. Then just give access through that (probably setup sub accounts for the users on the server).

Another suggestion is to use pcloud to sync the data folder across all users so all changes get updated.

Since Deepbot is one license per channel, and you are all streaming to once channel, this would work for you. They don't need to pay unless they plan on using it for their own personal channels.

How about adding the ability to resize the GUI? should be pretty standard option in any GUI nowadays. Using 2 23" monitors and have deepbot up with my OBS (resizable), chrome browser with 2-3 tabs open for twitch dashboard, twitter, and streamlabs. Then I also have on that same monitor, twitchapp, discord, itunes, pretzel, task monitor (for cpu usage), twitch popout chat since I can't use bttv moderation actions on deepbot usernames from the chat. Lastly, game on the main monitor. So real estate is limited overall for content creators.

I'm surprised this has never been on the trello board as it is something so basic.
