Bug Reports / Re: Deepbot using a lot of CPU in most recent updates
« on: September 29, 2015, 05:46:05 PM »
Mine is running on a dedicated server:
-Intel Core Duo E4500 Dual core @2.2Ghz
-4GB RAM
-Windows Server 2012 R2

I expect it to use more CPU as the server is not as high powered as my desktop but no where near the 90s. This affects other applications on my server. Also it is the new 'CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess' using up the CPU.

Also having the same problem, 30% normal use up to low 90s%. No moderation and all commands have 'Messages start with !' ticked.

Help/Support / Bot only give points to 2000 viewers

I have people constantly complaining about not receiving points, upon viewing logs <system> only gives points to 1999 people. Is this known?

The bot uses different connections for the stream name, and the bot name.  If your bot channel is connecting to itself, then there will be 2 connections on the same channel, causing DeepBot to crash.

Thanks for the reply, so is this similar to one IRC client connecting to 2 channels at once? Thus connecting to the same one twice causes problems?

Well the bot wouldn't be in your chat anymore if you want to do this.

Yes I am aware.

The channel the bot joins and the actual bot channel cannot be the same, or else it will cause DeepBot to give errors.

What errors?

Help/Support / Additional Stream Name

Hi could I have my bot name registered as a streamer, we want to test running the bot solely in the bot channel to reduce spam from betting etc.

Bots name is SipsBot
Stream name is sips_

I would like the opposite, mini-games to only run when the stream is offline!

I have been using the bot for a bit now and I have to say it is great.

I have noticed that when the stream comes online sometimes the bot becomes unresponsive and I have to restart it, this may be because of the mass user join messages it receives or maybe something else I'm not sure.

I would love an auto connect and enable of points when the bot starts as I am not always around to restart it myself.

A quick question about donating, how much do I need to donate each month to retain my VIP status?

Help/Support / Bot struggles with upwards of 5000 viewers
« on: July 25, 2014, 11:28:52 PM »
Specific times include the start of the stream (join messages), during bets and after the stream (everyone saying bye and the leave messages)

I was wondering if there was any way to disable chat logging as a start so that there is slightly less work to be done on each message, and I'm wondering if anything else can be done to help it cope.
