Additional Stream Name

Hi could I have my bot name registered as a streamer, we want to test running the bot solely in the bot channel to reduce spam from betting etc.

Bots name is SipsBot
Stream name is sips_

Well the bot wouldn't be in your chat anymore if you want to do this.

The channel the bot joins and the actual bot channel cannot be the same, or else it will cause DeepBot to give errors.

The channel the bot joins and the actual bot channel cannot be the same, or else it will cause DeepBot to give errors.

What errors?

The channel the bot joins and the actual bot channel cannot be the same, or else it will cause DeepBot to give errors.

What errors?

The bot uses different connections for the stream name, and the bot name.  If your bot channel is connecting to itself, then there will be 2 connections on the same channel, causing DeepBot to crash.

Thanks for the reply, so is this similar to one IRC client connecting to 2 channels at once? Thus connecting to the same one twice causes problems?
