Raffle entry confirmation
« on: May 02, 2015, 01:59:46 PM »
It would be awesome to make it so that Deepbot prints a notification in chat to let entrants know their entry into the raffle/giveaway is successful. Right now there's no notification so people keep spamming it thinking the bot messed up. To cut down on clutter, maybe have the bot wait 30 seconds before displaying all the names that entered in that past 30 seconds in one chat message or so.

Other than that, great bot!

This would be a great idea. I like the idea of a 30-second interval list of names popping up for more crowded channels.

Came here to add that this feature needs to be added! I do a lot of raffles and not having a confirmation message or a .txt file to give a list of entrants causes a lot of spamming of the same cmd. Hope it comes in the next few updates!

The confirmation would also cause spam.

You could make it a whisper.

I agree with the general feature request. Overall, there are still a hand full of cases/commands where the user does not receive proper confirmation/errors (bets, votes, cooldowns...). I think it would be good to ensure that any and all user inputs are somehow responded to, short of whispering "Unknown Command - maybe try [similar commands]".
