Oauth Password and Bot Twitch Name
« on: June 08, 2015, 06:43:40 AM »
Hello everyone,

I just downloaded DeepBot, I'm watching the tutorial video and when I input my bot name (which is the old bot name I used on twitch token bot)  - dungeonmaster bot, everything is fine.  However, when I put in the Oauth Password I don't know what the password would be for that bot, I never was told what it was.  Also, my account with twitch token bot is no longer active so I'm not sure if that is causing a problem.

I'm not supposed to log into my regular twitch account under Oauth Password right?  Am I going to have to make a new bot name at this point and will the old points from my dungeonmaster bot still be transferred over?

Thank you in advance for your help.  Any tips would be appreciated.

If you don't have access to your bot account, then you should create a new account.  Once you create the account, follow this guide to update the permissions in your license: http://deepbot.deep.sg/forums/index.php?topic=3206.0

Your points are stored in the users.bin file in your data folder. You won't lose any data by switching bot names.

If you mean points from your old twitch tokens not, then yes, they will be lost.

you created your bot password, as you created the twitch account for your bot

in the first OAauth you put in your bot name MISFIT and the twitch password for this account
in the second OAuth you put in your streamer name misschievous_ and the twitch password for this account
Hier steht nichts Sinnvolles, dennoch freundliche Grüße. MercurY

I was not able to get the bot name I wanted for twitch. I had to change it from killabot to killasbot. If you are able to update it for me so I can use it. That would be greatly appreciated
