External Music Player in VLC player?
« on: December 21, 2015, 08:37:41 AM »
Hey guys. It is possible to include the external music player into VLC?
http://deepbot.tv/player/YouTubePlayerv6.html

I know for 100% it is possible to put network adresses in the player. But with the standard adress somehow it's not working..

What im gunna do is, i want to Stream with the VLC player to a virtual audio cable. This virtual audio cable will be going to a teamspeak music bot, where the people should hear the deepbot music. I know how to setup these things.. All i need to know is how and where i can include the adress of the deepbot external player into a music player, or a browser with soundsettings... ( the normal browsers like mozilla, or chrome doesnt have soundsettings like this, or i just dont found them.

windows media player shows me this: Windows Media Player kann die Datei nicht wiedergeben. Möglicherweise unterstützt der Player den Dateityp nicht, oder ein erforderlicher Codec ist nicht auf dem Computer installiert.

means translated: Windows Media Player can not play the file. Maybe the player does not support the file type, or a required codec is not installed on the computer.

Sincerely,

Lucaser

VLC can only play video files formats from the web (.mp4, .mp3, .avi, etc.).  The external player is a .html file, meaning that it's a website, not an actual video file, and thus cannot be streamed through VLC.  If youtube has a way of playing videos through VLC, then try that, but it still may not work since the external youtube players is specially hooked into DeepBot to be able to change the video when new songs are requested.

Maybe there is a way to convert it into an mp3 file. Like the files, that musicstreamradio devices are using (mp3). That can be used in the webplayer and be used in a music player

Now i moved Google Chrome to this Virtual adiocable1 ( as a speaker)

I used virtual audiocable 1 as a microphone in Teamspeak.
