Deepbot on Hitbox.tv ?

Is it possible to run deepbot on hitbox.tv?

Been streaming there for a few days now and the quality compared to twitch is just insane, but I cant go on with that plan without my beloved DeepBot!

From day to day i stream more on hitbox then twitch like the massive chat problems and more.

It has been requested before (http://deepbot.deep.sg/forums/index.php?topic=542.0). We currently have no plans to look into HitBox integration.

Hitbox chat infrastructure is very different (HTML5 sockets) and their API is still fairly young and limited. Hence migrating the bot would represent a fair bit of work and would only provide a subset of the features currently available.

At this point, I feel effort is better spent on finishing the remaining features of the bot for twitch and focusing on a release version.

ok you can do functionality via irc as you can with twitch using irc.glados.tv which is one of the current bots on hitbox has irc functionality working.

It's not gonna happen, 1000 people on hitbox, 10m people on twitch, the market is on twitch, and hitbox's security is a disaster.  And before someone says something about delay when Twitch had 1000 users and used rtmp, there was no delay either.

saw this bot on hitbox a few times, wondering where the people are getting it from. or if there is a beta access to the hitbox version? since im switching from twitch to hitbox and would love to keep deepbot im paying 5$ a month for.

There is no official version of DeepBot for hitbox.  If you see someone using it on hotbox they are going against the tos and modifying the code to work with it.
