Can't Launch After Latest Update

Hello, I updated to the latest Deepbot 0.9.6.6 today. Popupbox after the update was complete gave the option to close or relaunch deepbot, i hit to relaunchit, and it wouldn't launch and that update window was stuck there. Had this issue with the last update but I don't recall how I fixed it, cause now when I go to launch DeepBot (yes as admin), it causes the folder/window I'm launching it from to become unresponsive with a loading circle cursor whenever the mouse is in that window, cant close it or click on things in it and I have to use task manager to restart the explorer.exe task.

DeepBot also does not even show up in the task manager in any capacity upon doing this. I tried to completely re-install it as well, which also didn't work.

Any ideas?

Deepbot is suppose to be closed when updating. o.o

My guess is deepbot/updater both need windows permissions to run. You can set that by Right Clicking Deepbot/DBUpdater.exe > Properties > Security Tab > Make sure all users listed have full control. Then try running deepbot.

Also make sure any anti-virus you have has deepbot folder allowed to pass through or disabled.

Sorry, my bad. I meant deepbot did close before the updater came up, but after the updater was finished when I clicked yes to re-launch deepbot now it froze. and then I also couldn't launch it from the folders either.

Wasn't the scanner though since its been in my exceptions since I got deepbot a year or so ago.
But, I did try fixing the Security/user access for the program like you suggested and it works again! Figured I'd confirm that fixed this for me incase anyone else has the same issue.
