Music Tab On Deepbot
« on: July 27, 2016, 04:19:54 AM »
Hey guys first off i'd like to say what an amazing program deepbot is! so glad i found it and got involved with the program :D

There are 2 problems im having with the music player / song request part of deepbot.

1st problem is when people do !songrequest in chat followed by the youtube link so like !songrequest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EL75t5RpdbU it doesn't work unless they take the https:// part away is there anyway i can change this so it works with the http part aswell?

2nd problem is im trying to add the player onto my stream obviously not the video but player so people can see what's currently playing without having to put !song in chat they can just see it :)

Thanks for the help in advance!

James

1.  I just tested this and for me DeepBot adds the song even if the URL has https://.  Make sure the url is valid even with the https:// and that you are running DeepBot as admin.

2. In the OBS folder of DeepBot there is a text file called CurrentSongFormatted.txt.  You can use this in OBS to show the name of the current song, you can also change the formatting of it by going to Master Settings>Text Files>Now Playing (Formatted).
