Chat box in raffle not updating always?

Hey.

 Does the chat in raffle update like regular chat or not? I noticed it didn't update all the time like the other chat. Is this a possible bug? or is that intended?

The Chat in the raffle panel is set to update generally when a raffle is open. When raffles are not open, the primary chat view would be the chat tab.
This is to prevent resources from being used where they are not needed.
