User Database Cleared
« on: May 04, 2014, 02:23:26 AM »
Heya guys.  My User Database Cleared everyone to 0 currency, all as of joining yesterday and all test experience and not following.  I was streaming and didnt' realize my computer was rebooting for updates.  When I came back, I lost it all.  Can this be fixed or have I forever lost everyone's currency in my channel?   Twitch.tv/nakedangel

Very odd.

In the backups\0\ folder there should be time stamped copies of the users.bin file. You can choose to restore a copy before the issue began.

To restore a backup:
  • Close DeepBot
  • Rename users.bin to users_bak.bin (This is the backup of your current database)
  • Find the file you want to restore from the backups\0\ folder and copy it
  • Paste the file in the main folder (where the original users.bin was)
  • Rename the backup file to users.bin
  • Start DeepBot

As for the following etc, that stuff still shows everyone is not following even though they are.  All the dates are still reset.  Can that be restored too?

As discussed, all data has been recovered.
