Image-Only Command Help Needed
« on: March 26, 2017, 03:27:05 AM »
Hi Guys & Gals! I've been figuring out how to have an image trigger when use a command, and I've got it all working except for one little issue... the Animation Mode. Animation Mode #3 is the only one that doesn't give a significant delay, but even it has a fade in. Is there a way to remove the animation mode altogether and just have the image pop in immediately for the duration I give in the source url? Thanks for any help in advance!

Easier if you just want to use OBS Remote for just an image without animation.

What if you use OBS Studio?  From what I understand OBS Remote doesn't work with Studio.

I'm trying to do the same thing, to have a .gif (and a sound) pop up by a command.  The furthest I've been able to get is my .gif really tiny in the corner of a blue box. This is really frustrating.  It doesn't seem like something so simple should be so hard, especially because this kind of thing is common in streams and expected.

if you're curious, here is the file I want to display on my stream:

And here is a screenshot of how it comes up in OBS:
