Twitch Partnership Settings
« on: April 04, 2017, 11:13:40 PM »
To Whom It May Concern:

My channel was recently partnered by Twitch and I'm trying to get everything setup for when the sub button goes live.  How do I activate everything within deepbot?  Can't seem to find how to activate the sub notification tab, etc.

Thanks,

CovertGG

I believe it will automatically go live when the Twitch API starts reporting that you are a partner. Probably would require a restart of Deepbot when it does go live but non the less.

Are there any instructions anywhere that I can review on recommended settings once that does come through?  Are there any additional features that will be open or available that I should look out for as well?

I mean as far as recommended settings you default ones should be good enough to begin with as a base. You should gain access to the "Sub Notification" manager when that gets enabled and also "Twitch Cheer Notification" settings which you can edit at will now.

Although for cheers I do recommend using Muxy over us. Quite simply because of the cheer cup and the amount of control you get over the on-screen notifications. We should be good enough to use in chat itself though.

As far as anything else apart from those two things you also get your Twitch subs (When your button goes live) in the "Notifications" tab. You also get access to the "Commercial Manager" which you can, if you wish (Highly recommend not though), running every x amount of minutes. The reason why I say not to is because it'll break up your gameplay. It'd be something you'd want to run on breaks if anything.

Think that's about all the additional features that get unlocked for being a Twitch partner. I've probably missed something but when it goes live I'm sure there'll be room to explore yourself.

Congratulations by the way,
