Chat commands that cost points to execute
« on: June 06, 2014, 07:12:09 AM »
Loving the bot so far, but I was kinda disappointed to see that one of the features I had in mind wasn't implemented in the bot.  :(
My idea was to set up a bunch of commands where viewers could request that I play with a handicap, at the cost of points.

Right now I can just deduct the points from viewers once they request a mod, but nothing is stopping them from requesting stuff without having the points for it. Plus it would be nice if I didn't have to spend half my time correcting peoples' points  :P

On a sidenote, I'd also like to know if it's possible to add a command with multiple suffixes (I think that's the proper way to say it?).
For example, players would be able to force me to use a mod, at the cost of points.
right now I have a bunch of commands set up, named ''!requestHD'' ''!requestHR'' ''!requestDT'' etc. Would it be possible to merge all that into one command, so it would simply be ''!request <mod>''?

Sorry if my description is a bit vague.. I mentioned the game I play so it would be a bit more relatable, but I think these functions would have a lot of uses besides the ones I mentioned :)
