JOIN SOUNDS TRIGGERING BEFORE FIRST CHAT
« on: January 03, 2019, 04:45:50 AM »
I've been wrapping my head around this, and could use a little insight please.

My custom join sounds are triggering before my VIP user types anything in chat for the first time. I've noticed if users are just in the chat waiting-- after a certain amount of time the bot registers them in chat and triggers their custom join sound. For example, the VIP user will be lurking in chat for a significant amount of time and then after the bot syncs with Twitch chat to update users joined it sees the VIP and automatically triggers the custom Join Sound. I don't want this because I feel like it 'calls out' the user potentially making them uncomfortable and embarrassed. How do I change this?

I want the Join Sound to trigger ONLY when the VIP user types in chat for the first time NOT when the bot identifies them after a sync and automatically triggers it their specific Join Sound.

Please help.
