Help/Support / Re: LastCheer & TopCheer not showing

Shall I expect it to grab historical cheers now that it's enabled? Or will it only start picking it up starting with new cheers?

Do you mean the Twitch Cheer Notification tab on the main Config page? I have it disabled. Guess that's what I need to change, huh? I thought I only needed to enable that if I wanted to have Deepbot print a channel message in chat (which I don't necessarily need).

Help/Support / LastCheer & TopCheer not showing
« on: May 07, 2017, 03:12:53 AM »
I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but the txt files available for "LastCheer" and "TopCheer" aren't picking up any data for me. I just got affiliated a week back, and I'm guessing there's some setting I need to change to have it check the amounts. My tips ("donations") have been coming through just fine, fyi. I'm using streamlabs for my integration. Any ideas on why it may not be printing any of the cheer data to the text files? Thanks in advance!

Help/Support / Image-Only Command Help Needed
« on: March 26, 2017, 03:27:05 AM »
Hi Guys & Gals! I've been figuring out how to have an image trigger when use a command, and I've got it all working except for one little issue... the Animation Mode. Animation Mode #3 is the only one that doesn't give a significant delay, but even it has a fade in. Is there a way to remove the animation mode altogether and just have the image pop in immediately for the duration I give in the source url? Thanks for any help in advance!

Help/Support / Last5Donors Currency
« on: March 02, 2017, 02:11:55 AM »
Looking to do a little text scroll of recent donors, and since I have my StreamLabs connected I have a "Last5Donors" file available. However, it doesn't appear to include a currency in the amount.

So, for example, it reads: "user1 (5), user2 (17), user3 (10), user4 (5), user5 (5)"

What I'd like it to read is "user1 ($5), user2 ($17), user3 ($10), user4 ($5), user5 ($5)"

Any way of having the text file print the currency type in there?? Any help would be appreciated!!

Hiya all! I'm Wezmerelda (but you can call me Wez), and I stream over at twitch.tv/WonderWez; I'm a variety streamer but I tend to hover around World of Warcraft, Minecraft, and story-based gaming/action RPG's. I occasionally try FPS's or MOBA's and it's amusing for all involved (to watch me fail, that is). I stream at 3pm Pacific time, four days a week (M/W/Th/F). Got a super-small (but super-awesome) community right now, and of course I'm looking to grow while maintaining the positivity and unbridled enthusiasm that I and the viewers bring to the stream. DeepBot is really helping me bring some of my interaction ideas to life on the stream, so I'm really happy to have found it. Also have received a lot of help on the forums here so far, so big thanks to you all! Hope to see you on-stream!

Help/Support / User text entry
« on: October 27, 2016, 12:15:16 AM »
Is there any way to grab the text a user enters following a command? For example, let's say I offer a chance for people to submit character name ideas via a command that they have to pay points for. The idea would be to setup a command "!name", that has a currency cost. Then when they enter the command (!name Stellagosa), it posts the message "@user@ has suggested the name 'Stellagosa'!" Or if someone enters "!name Little Bo Peep" it returns: "@user@ has suggested the name 'Little Bo Peep'!"

I can't seem to find a command for custom text entry, so I'm not sure if it's an option here...

Help/Support / Re: Custom Commands Question
« on: October 26, 2016, 11:32:23 PM »
Thanks so much. I'd love it if you could draft up something to help get me started. I'm reviewing the custom commands list now (especially the @if@ commands), but I'm guessing I'm going to get a little hung up with syntax. Unless there's some more straightforward way to accomplish it, what I'm thinking is setting up 6 different numbered factoid commands (!factoid1, !factoid2, etc.), and then having the primary "!factoid" command set to check @if@ !factoid1 has yet been run this session, if not, executes !factoid1, and if !factoid1 HAS been executed, then checks !factoid2, etc. Then I'd stick a cooldown on "!factoid" so I don't run out of factoids mid-stream :)

Great to know this is a possibility! Is there somewhere you would recommend looking to get up-to-speed on command chains and @exec@? Also I was browsing the forums and came up with the idea that the command "!factoid" would actually link to a string of other commands with if statements, like when executing the "!factoid" command, it would check to see if "!factoid1" had been used, and if not, to use it. If it had been used, it would check to see if "!factoid2" had been used, and if not, to use it. Not sure if I'm barking up the wrong tree here and there's an easier way to do it, or what. Thanks!

Help/Support / Custom Commands Question
« on: October 26, 2016, 06:03:44 AM »
Hi all! I have a question about how deep I can get with commands. I have an idea to have a command that viewers can enter into chat that would a) withdraw a certain amount of their currency, b) trigger an on-stream display of an image, txt file, or layer in OBS Studio, and c) have each successive use of the command trigger the next in the series.

To use an example, I want people to be able to use a command like "!factoid" and have it withdraw, let's say 20 points from their currency account and display the next in a series of pre-selected "facts" that I setup in advance. Ideally this facts would be ordered and on cooldown, meaning I'd have some max amount available per stream (one per half-hour, for example). For a three-hour stream, I'd have 6 facts setup and available to go. Users would not need to type !factoid1 or !factoid2, but each successive use of the !factoid command would trigger the next available in the series.

Is this something that is possible with deepbot? If not, I guess I can create a single graphic that could trigger, and then I could manually engage an OBS layer's visibility... but I'd of course prefer it be automated. :) Any help or direction is appreciated!
